The Dangers of Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain is the most common cause of job-related disability according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Acute back pain can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, making your life really difficult and painful. 80% of the adult population in the USA is suffering from it at one point in their life, which is a very large number.
 

Who are affected by lower back muscle pain?

People between the age of 30 and 50 are most likely to suffer from it, as with age the reduction of the fluid content between the vertebrae in the spine sets in.

Your body can create symptoms of physical pain, as a result of emotional imbalance, because you are over-worked.  carry more burdens than you should either, as your own choice of trying to please others, or wanting to make ends meet can demand more and more of you.

Well, most people take some form of pain killers to try getting through their day. Although it is acceptable temporarily, it won’t improve the state of your muscles and your emotional state, it simply does, what it says on the tin, reduces pain. However there is a better way to deal with the pain and to strengthen and revitalise your lower back area, which is a self-healing art called qigong.

Qigong exercises come in many different forms. I have put together a 45 minutes exercise routine, which allows for

  • re-establishes a healthier energy flow in the lower back area.
Through intentions, breath, posture and gentle exercises you will be able to release
  • emotional stress,
  • stretch your back muscles and
  • revitalise the flow of energy to this part of your body.
It is an amazing feeling and you can practice the exercises during the week at home too, if you wish.

What is qigong?
